HRL-PAC To Host Mayoral Forum at Pridefest
Four of the five candidates for Milwaukee Mayor have confirmed plans to participate in a candidate
forum at Pridefest. The forum will take place at 3:30p.m., Saturday, June 7, at the Stonewall Stage.
State Rep. Pedro Colon, businesswoman Sandy Folaron, Alderman Marvin Pratt and city employee
Martin Matson have all accepted invitations to attend. Alderman Tom Nardelli has declined citing a scheduling conflict. Additional
candidates who enter the race before Pridefest will also be invited to participate.
Submit a Question for the Candidates
The forum will be moderated with questions on a wide variety of issues of interest to the LGBT
community. Community members are invited to submit questions to be included in the forum. Questions can be submitted
by phone at (414) 319-9863 or by sending an e-mail to hrlpac@yahoo.com. Submissions should include name, city of residence, a phone number and an indication
of whether or not the submitter's name can be used to introduce the question at the forum.
