Aldermanic Primary Endorsements -
Makes General Election Endorsements of Butler, Taylor,
Barrett, and Colon
Center
Advocates PAC announces endorsements
in five Milwaukee Aldermanic races for the 2008 Primary Election. Since 1997,
Center Advocates PAC is Wisconsin’s only group dedicated to electing candidates
who will work for and defend equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered (LGBT) people.
Candidates appearing on the
February 19th Primary ballet, endorsed by Center Advocates PAC, have
demonstrated a commitment to LGBT equality and the ability to run a comprehensive campaign pertaining to a wide variety of
issues concerning City of Milwaukee citizens.

These candidates have
a long history of advancing LGBT equality through legislation or support of current legislation that protects LGBT people.
Each one has either voted in their positions against the amendment to ban same-gender marriage or have spoken out on behalf
of fair and equal treatment of LGBT families in Wisconsin.
Center Advocates PAC (formerly HRL-PAC) affiliated with Center Advocates, Inc. early in 2007 to expand our effectiveness in advocating
